I had a weird, kind of disturbing, experience earlier.

After I posted earlier, Sally/Jasmin and I went to Target, and I saw this girl. I could've sworn it was Sarah. She looked so much like the posters and pictures that we've seen all over the news.

So of course I went up to her, all, "Sarah?" and confused and about to cry. She gave me a weird look and was all, "Excuse me?" And I was like, "You're not Sarah, are you?" and she was like, "No, sorry." So I apologized and left the poor girl alone.

Then I went cried and told Sally/Jasmin everything. In the middle of Target.

As a logical human being, I know these are all coincidences, and in the end, Sarah is no different than any other seventeen-year-old girl, and ConTech is not trying to take over the world. But my heart, and my gut, say differently. They say that something is not right, and the world can think I'm crazy if they want. Maybe I am.

But maybe I'm right.

Stranger things have happened.

Unfortunately, yeah.

So you don't think we're crazy?

I'm not going to claim you're suspicions are right, but I do think you have a good reason to suspect something. All of this business sounds so... fishy.

Thank you.

I'm not saying they're right, either. I'm just tired of everyone thinking we're just amazingly paranoid. I just want someone to take us seriously.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

...Actually, it does, because paranoia is defined as the "unfounded suspicion of" whatever. I'm not helping. Sorry.

The point is: I believe you.

It's okay. Thanks anyway.

That sucks. I hate when things like that happen. But at least now someone in your family/friends knows, and understands what's going on. I'm glad to hear that.

I don't know how much she understands, but at least she knows. At least I got it off my chest and told someone.
